Persistent and ambitious, he was responsible for the development and construction of the Galactic Empire's DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station, which he commanded up until the beginning of the Galactic Civil War.
Present at the Battle of Scarif, he failed in his attempts to stop the fledgling Rebel Alliance in their mission to acquire the plans for Empire's new superweapon.
