A descendant of the mad mystic Grigori Rasputin, Piotr Rasputin was raised on a collective in the Soviet Union. He was recruited to the X-Men by Professor Charles Xavier after his ability to turn his body into organic steel was discovered during a tractor incident. Piotr took the codename ‘Colossus’ and became a long-standing member of the team, finding romance with young recruit Kitty Pryde. He also found comradeship with Wolverine, whom he would frequently hurl into battle as part of their ‘fastball special’ maneuver.
The colossal Colossus appears in all his oversized glory! The iconic heart and soul of so many X-Men teams, the metal-skinned mutant comes with a Danger Room robotic-vise obstacle that's in scale with all previous Danger Room accessories. This Colossus Action Figure includes Marvel Select's standard 16 points of articulation and measures over 8-inches tall. You can even combine his base with those of Gambit and Cyclops to form a Danger Room diorama! Gambit and Cyclops sold separately.
